How much does it cost to talk with you about our event?

Enjoy a complimentary consultation to meet face-to-face, ask questions and determine your needs.

 

Do you recommend specific vendor professionals? Do you get referral fees?

Although we have our "favorites" - vendors that have done an outstanding job for our Clients - we do not work on a set list of vendors, nor do we receive referral fees from our vendors. Our job is to get you the best service at the best price.

 

What's the difference between you and a wedding planner that a venue provides?

Many venues are able to offer an on-site wedding coordinator which is an excellent resource for a wedding consultant such as myself. These on-site coordinators are a great (value-added!) way to have additional assistance the day of the event, especially during set-up and take-down, and are typically included in the cost of the venue rental. However, the resort coordinator will typically only assist with items that directly financially benefit the venue, such as cake, catering, alcohol, tables and chairs, and sometimes floral.

 

Is La Ruche available for destination events?

We will happily plan your destination event. Out-of-town events typically require a more intense level of planning, research, and organization, and so we ask for no less than four (4) months of planning time. La Ruche typically stays on-site two-days prior and one-day post-event.

 

How much should I budget for my event?

Setting a realistic working budget is often a misunderstood process. Your budgeting will most likely be determined by the largest expense types: number of guests, catering, venue, and decor preferences. Budgeting assistance is included in our comprehensive services packages and whenever possible we will suggest alternatives to keep your costs down.
